Farne Islands reopen to visitors

For the first time in nearly two years, one of Northumberland’s most memorable experiences has reopened to the public. “The Farne Islands are a National Nature Reserve in England and an internationally important home to approximately 200,000 seabirds, including puffins, Arctic terns, and kittiwakes”.

With boat journeys to the historic Inner Farne island resuming this month, guests at Northumberland Cottages will be able to experience another unique activity that awaits you on our spectacular Northumberland coast!
