The Plough Inn and The Running Fox open in Powburn!

We’ve been excited for the reopening of the village pub for a little while now, telling guests “it’s coming soon, not long to wait now”…

…well, it’s here and it’s better than we ever could have expected. The Plough Inn, our shiny new village pub has been open for a few months, and this week welcomed the opening of it’s partner The Running Fox, an already much loved local cafe and bakery now here on our doorstep.

The Plough Inn is beautifully furnished and has retained many original features that make it a characterful local pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Keep an eye out for the old forge door in The Running Fox too!

Guests can try out their fantastic cakes and lunch menu over a coffee (or two) from 10am till 4pm, when it closes and the Plough Inn opens; there’s always something going on in Powburn.
